Elisa Trentham Selected for Leadership Knoxville Class of 2026

Sherwood Media is proud to announce that founder and owner Elisa Trentham has been selected for the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2026. This highly respected Flagship Program is a 10-month leadership experience that combines community engagement, professional development, and networking opportunities for leaders shaping the future of East Tennessee.

Elisa Trentham, founder of Sherwood Media, is excited to participate in this year’s Leadership Knoxville Flagship Program!

A Knoxville native and female business owner, Trentham is a creative video producer with 15 years of industry experience and a bilingual, dual citizen of Spain. She is motivated by her Christian faith, and is passionate about using storytelling to create lasting community impact. Through Sherwood Media, she helps businesses and organizations tell their stories with authenticity and excellence. Her core values of honor, truth, and love guide every project.

Her video work has taken her around the world, telling stories for clients including Ann Furrow of Joni and Friends Tennessee, an Iraqi girls’ basketball team connected to Pat Summitt, and executives from ESPN, the WNBA, the US Olympic Committee, and the US State Department.

Trentham’s leadership strengths allow her to think big, create a plan, and bring people together to accomplish meaningful work. She plans to use these skills during Leadership Knoxville to connect with local leaders, explore solutions to community challenges, and apply storytelling as a tool for positive change.

For nearly 40 years, Leadership Knoxville has provided servant leadership training, deepened participants’ understanding of local issues, and fostered meaningful connections. Each Flagship Program class includes 45–55 leaders representing the diversity of the Knoxville region, and Trentham believes that this class is sure to be THE BEST CLASS EVER.

I believe in the power of storytelling to change communities,” said Trentham. “I’m excited about this opportunity, and I hope to be a reason people are glad they joined this program.”

The class has already met for orientation, an overnight retreat, and for the first full-day leadership training session.
