I vividly remember the moment we shared my grandmother’s Legacy Film at her 90th birthday, where she was surrounded by her family and friends. I can still hear the laughter in the audience from a funny memory that was so classic of my grandmother. I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes when I heard her impact in our family and community.
That day, she was honored in a way that she never asked for, but always deserved.
When you take intentional time to tell your story or experience someone else’s story, it changes you. Those moments of reflection and gratitude that you naturally gain when you pause to consider your life events, challenges, and victories can impact how you take your next steps.
My purpose is to empower you to tell your story on video with honor, truth, and love.
I am the happiest and most satisfied when, after the important work of crafting your story, we finally get to share it in a room full of your family, friends, colleagues, and supporters.
I’ve known since I was a kid that I would pursue filmmaking, but it wasn’t until that moment with my grandmother that I realized my passion for videos that capture a legacy and inspire generations.
Sherwood Media is a family-owned business.
Elisa and Jonathan started Sherwood Media in 2015 and were married that same year. Together, they have three kids who have grown up watching the ins and outs of video production and business. Out of the studio, they enjoy playing board games, hosting gatherings, and going on family bike rides.
