  • The benefit of working with the team at Sherwood Media is that we bring the professionalism and expertise of an ad-agency with the hands-on, personal connection of family. Trying to create a video on your own will leave you disappointed and frustrated every time. Find a company that you connect with and trust on a personal level, who will help you feel comfortable on camera and has the experience to bring your vision to life.

  • From concept to finished video is usually between 2-3 months. Generally for a short video for your business, we like to spend a few weeks on messaging and pre-production, then one or two days filming, then 4-8 weeks editing, depending on the complexity and length of your video.

  • Concept: Most of the involvement is needed at the beginning of a project. We need to understand what you’re looking for visually and in messaging, which needs to come from you.

    Location Scout: We will spend a couple hours doing a location scout before filming so we can iron out logistics and make plans for when and how we’ll film everything.

    Filming: On production day, we just need access to the locations and people involved in filming, which may include you! You’re welcome to join us for part of the day, or for the whole thing.

    Review: You will meet with us to watch a “rough cut” of your video, give us feedback, and then we’ll send you the final version of your video.

  • The best way to get an accurate estimate for your video is to schedule a free consultation with us. If you need a range, videos with us could cost anywhere from $5,000-$50,000.

  • I am a big believer in using your video in as many ways as you can. Use it on your website, upload it to your social media channels, play it before a speaking event, and even include it in your marketing emails.

  • The best way to create a video that gets watched is by having a strategy for the marketing and distribution of your video laid out ahead of time.

    Generally speaking, the best way to get traction on your video is to build an audience by releasing multiple videos a week on social media. For one-off videos, just posting them online won’t do much for you, so we recommend having a more targeted strategy like showing your videos at an event where many of your target audience will be watching intentionally.
