I’m Elisa Trentham, the founder of Sherwood Media
10 years ago, I turned down a job offer at the largest production company in the southeast to pursue an idea that I had never seen done before - legacy videos for businesses, non-profits, and families.
Since then, I’ve sat with hundreds of people and held space for their stories, laughter, and tears. I’ve watched families knit closer together, businesses find renewed passion, and change-makers inspire their communities.
My guiding principles for legacy storytelling are Honor, Truth, and Love. I uphold these principles by listening with compassion, asking questions that draw out the most amazing details, and leveraging more than a decade of video production experience to capture each person authentically.
